The Farmers Branch Public Daylily Garden is located in a public park area west of the Farmers Branch City Hall on city property. The garden was designated as an official AHS Display Garden in late January 2011. It is bordered on three sides by the Farmers Branch All-American Rose Selection Test Garden. It is bordered on the South side by open land, an established pecan orchard, picnic area, and Rawhide Creek with its scenic bridge and walking path. To the West of the entire area are DART Rail Lines, Liberty Plaza, and the Farmers Branch Convention Center. To the North is the Farmers Branch DART Transit Station. A block to the South is the Farmers Branch Historical Park.

The Farmers Branch Parks and Recreation Department constructed all the flower beds. There are eight raised flower beds, consisting of one L-shaped bed and seven circular beds. Each bed is edged with rectangular stones.

The daylily cultivars for this public daylily garden were donated to the city of Farmers Branch by Binion Amerson.

Featured daylilies include Hemerocallis 'Elizabeth Salter', H. 'How Beautiful Heaven Must Be', and 'Lavender Blue Baby'. Also featured are AHS Stout Medal winners, Lennington Award winners, and many other AHS award-winning daylilies.

The lawn and water system are to be maintained by the city of Farmers Branch. Maintenance of the flower beds will be provided by members of the Daylily Growers of Dallas.

The garden is open to the public 24 hours a day and is ADA accessible.
